A trip to West Midlands Safari Park...

West Midlands Safari Park is home to over 165 species of exotic animals. Offering a full safari drive-through experience, various discovery trails, animal encounters, food and drink facilities and even its own theme park, it makes for a perfect day out for any age. It is somewhere I have been countless times with friends, and family of all ages.

From experience I know that not even the weather ruins this fantastic experience because the safari park has plenty of indoor facilities, including animal encounters, reptile houses, aquariums, and arcades.

Living locally to this attraction it is easy to forget just how popular it is. For instance when the Park is at full capacity (during bank holidays and summer season) it can accommodate up to 10,000 visitors on a daily basis!

In good weather the drive-through safari in particular is an incredible experience. Close up to animals which you would normal never see, let alone reach out and touch! There is the option to feed some animals during the drive although this is understandably restricted to some animals, a real hit with kids and adults alike. It is fascinating to see rare breeds or nearly extinct animals so closely and you may take as long or as little time as you like.

The entire park is well-staffed and monitored. Educable and enjoyable, the Safari Park offers many themed events around at any time of the year but specifically Christmas, Halloween, Bonfire Night etc which are genuinely entertaining for any age.

Why not come and take a look around this spring...
