It's such a treat to visit the Blitz for lunch and well worth the 12 mile journey. As the name implies it is sett in world war 2 and is very authentic. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are helpful and always willing to make sure your time is spent happily. Oh and the food is great.

The Blitz is a welcoming place. The staff are friendly and the food is good. Tea is done in a whole new way, not just a tea bag in a cup.

This was our first visit to the tea room. The service was excellent. We ordered afternoon tea for two. We were amazed at the quality and quantity. The setting is absolutely lovely and the staff very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return.
