We went here to commemorate my wifes late grandmother's birthday.

An amazing WWII themed tearoom with friendly and professional staff and good quality tea and coffee.

I'd heartily recommend it

Perfect afternoon tea. Food is awesome, the memorabilia & recordings gives the illusion of stepping back in time. Staff & service fantastic, cakes & scones to die for

The staff are very welcoming and warm. Food is simple and hearty. Reminders of War time England are evident. Lovely, worth a visit and step back in time, you won't be disappointed.

Absolute gem in Kettering tucked away adjacent to the Manor Museum. Charming sisters have taken over management of this unique 1940's themed tea room since 2018. Excellent selection of homemade goodies and very good loose leaf tea to be had here. Thoroughly recommend. No trip to Kettering is complete without a visit to The Blitz.

The Blitz tearooms are probably the best in Kettering. As the name suggests the building is decorated to look like a 1940's style house complete with period furniture and the ceiling has been painted to look as though it has suffered some bomb damage. They have period music playing in the background which includes from time to time an air raid warning which only adds to the authentic feel of the place. The food and drink is served in the old fashioned type crockery rather than the modern/contemporary stuff you get from the larger national chains. Even the staff get into character, dressing in period costume. With only a small number of tables I do recommend booking though as they do get very busy, particularly around lunchtime and on Saturdays.
