After two hours driving from Ipswich I stuck in Google 'pubs around me' and The Wheatsheaf came up so I drove my campervan straight there as was the nearest. What a fab welcome I had as soon as I walked in. Asked if they still did food at 8.35 and yes they did til 9pm. I peggedit back to my van to change as just finished work and sat down to a cold beer and a rib eye steak cooked medium rare. It came as I ordered ( hard to find these days) and full of flavour.<br><br>Very friendly staff and I was told to park my campervan in the car park and to stay there no problem at all. Another beer then 😁 and of course a cheese board. Great selection of cheeses and brilliant atmosphere in the pub. Great stuff.

Good village pub, plenty of locals, nice outdoor courtyard & garden seating. Party with Hog roast & salads etc.Food was well presented & tasted great.
