My mum booked this hotel and spa for my birthday and I just wanted to say it is incredible. The staff are beyond lovely, caring and patient, the atmosphere is welcoming, the rooms are beautiful, the facilities are all beautifully clean and refreshing and the food and drinks are stunning. We were made to feel so special and I had an amazing time, thank you so much.

What a lovely little place. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food and drink. The crowning glory is the atmosphere though. So many period touches and memorabilia you could almost be back in the 1940s. There's some really interesting pieces, many of which will have you saying "my mum had one of those!"

Played the course when all others were closed due to several days rain. Nice friendly greeting in the pro shop and a fantastic welcome from the starter who paired us up with a couple of members who were great company. Great condition despite the weather good greens and good test of golf. Good clubhouse, tried the bacon and brie panini, very tasty but when it arrived, looked as if it had been stood on, flat as a pancake, would have been nicer with a few chips.
Will definitely be visiting again.
