Lunch steak and ale pie ,not recommended full of fatty meat and cold potatoes and @ ยฃ17 a pop or value for money ,might have been of it had steak in the pie !

Still โ Nice & cosy place from way back. Food was fair, good portion. The staff are pleasant enough. September was a Birthday celebration for my neighbour.<br>Then revised mid-May unfortunately, the only downside is that they never seem to offer a ๐๐ธ๐ฝ ๐ฎ ๐จpudding.<br>Prices are competitive but not for the dessert menu. My wife and I recently visited The Wheatsheaf for the first time on a lunchtime and what a lovely pub it is! First class service from the friendly and welcoming staff, great atmosphere and fantastic food. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back in the near future.
