Yum! Have been here a few times with friends and my parents, both in the ‘outdoors only’ lockdown and normality. Great pub in a sweet village setting, the heart of the parish as it should be. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Good food and drinks, nestled next to the church.

If the interior of this pub hasn't been submitted for any design awards yet - it should be !<br>Tastefully decorated, this has to be one of the best I've experienced, modern whilst still retaining the original character of a good traditional village pub.<br>A warm welcome and the staff are so friendly and helpful.<br>A good selection of real ales and good food coupled with a great ambience, what more could you ask for?<br>And there's more to come as the owner is working hard on the garden and exterior, ready for lots of summer events :-) Look forward to that...<br>well worth a visit -<br>Thoroughly recommended

Great interior designs but sadly disappointed by the food. Prawn Cocktail with 4 prawns still in their shell but covered in sauce. No finger bowls provided for the shells and by the time we had the shells peeled off our fingers were covered in sauce and none left on the prawns. We peeled our 4 tiny prawns and ate them and was just left with a sad little salad to eat on its own. Very badly thought out starter. I think just a traditional prawn cocktail would go just as well. Shame as it is obvious there has ben a lot of work done to improve the place but sadly would not recommend

Walked in on a Sunday at lunchtime. Fully booked but they said we could have a table if we didn't mind leaving at 2.30pm before the other people who's table it was arrived. We grabbed the table and glad we did! They gave us some time to choose something nice. They then made sure we were looked after. Fabulous food..great beer..lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back but make sure we book next time!
