The pub which is a well recommended country restaurant, featuring traditional low beams, exposed stonework and inglenook fireplaces.
There are a range of well kept real ales from Everards and other guest beer brewers.
The pub has a central bar and several relaxing areas to eat and drink in comfortable leather armchairs, which always feels warm and welcoming.
Aaron the landlord always endeavours to produce food from local and seasonal ingredients along with his slow roasted meats which concentrate the flavours of his excellent dishes, all this is offered at reasonable prices for the excellent and well recommended food.
There are a range of guest accommodation rooms available at the pub where guests can enjoy fresh 3-course evening meals and more informal dishes in the dining room. During the warmer months, meals can be eaten on the outside terrace.
Regular Pub Activities.
There is a book club on the third Weds of month to swap books, the aim is to share a love of reading not to be literary critics! And enjoy the company as well.
