Fantastic venue, delicious food, attentive staff & a great wine list make this the perfect venue for a night out.
Visited for my friends birthday and i have to admit i was sceptical about japanese and italian on the same menu. However i was soon pleasantly surprised after having enjoyed some good sushi very well presented. I then followed this with Veal, something i will only eat in a decent Italian and it was very good. The decor and staff are really nice and Luigi is the ultimate host. It also has a cheeky little nightclub downstairs, now that could be dangerous!!! Loved the place will definitely go back
The decor is stylish & the seating is really comfortable, I enjoyed a selection of sushi & sushimi followed by an Italian main of sword fish which was delicious, although it could have been a little warmer. Friendly and attentive service and I would definitely go back again. A great place for dinner for 2, or with friends or for a party and there's the added bonus of dancing the night away downstairs.
I'm fussy about food & where I eat! It was late friday night & 3 friends & I wanted to eat. I live in Imperial Wharf & I had noticed that this restaurant in Kings Rd had recently opened. So we decided to give it a go. When we left the restaurant 2hrs later, all 4 of us were of the view that we had made the right choice & that we would eat there again. They tried hard to please us;the food was excellent. The minestrone soup was to die for!!;the ambience was just right;the service couldn't be faulted. Last week I had dinner in the Ritz in Mayfair & honestly this place was 80% cheaper & more enjoyable. I will definitely eat there again. Jim
We had a wonderful evening in Maremote recently. To have a choice of Suchi and/or Italian food is unique. The food and service are both excellent. Luigi is charming and professional and the atmosphere is great. Wonderful venue for hosting family and/ or group celebrations and if you want to continue celebrating into the night then you only have to venture into Maremoto's classy club in the basement!
We had Valentines a day early at Maremoto. Luigi and his team looked after us really, really well (it's great to see old style restaurant owners work the room-Luigi makes it look too easy!) I have 25 years in the catering trade supplying the best Hotels & Restaurants in London and I can honestly say that the Sushi & Sashimi is just deeelicious... properly good! The Italian food doesn't let it down either. Quality raw ingredients, not messed around, generous (to say the least) portions, this is exactly what you want in a local. I'll be back again & again although I think my girlfriend has fallen for Luigi's charming ways...
i was at maremoto on wednesday night for my birthday and i must admit it was a fantastic evening.we started of with a selection of sushi and sashimi for starters followed by the main course off the italian menu.what can i say the food was fantastic the atmosphere in the restaurant just right and the waiters and staff in general very the end of our meal the host Mr luigi offered us quite a few drinks on the house which made the evening even more enjoyable.will surely be coming back and do reccomend it if your looking for a rather wonderfull evening out.
