Excellent scone avec crème et confiture, le tout accompagné d'un très bon cidre maison. Le lieu est magnifique, très reposant et convivial.<br>Il faut arriver avant 16h pour être servis à manger, après ce ne sont que les boissons et la boutique.<br>Ils proposent l'afternoon tea mais nous n'avons pas testé car il était trop tard.

A good day out at the zoo, although the weather was a bit hit and miss. Good to see the great work the folk do at the zoo, very educational visit. Definitely going back when the weather picks up.

We stopped off at La Mare which was half way on a coastal walking route which was just the ticket for a light lunch and to taste some wine and their apple brandy. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean and the server was so helpful with it being the first day in reopening.
