Really enjoyed our visit to La Mare. We’re South African so we know a thing or two about good wine and we were very pleasantly surprised by how good their red wine is, very smooth and easy to drink. Their apple brandy and black butter are also excellent.<br>We also have to give a huge shout out to all the staff there. While we on our tour and tasting we got some bad news and all the staff were so compassionate and kind. We honestly can’t thank you enough.<br><br>For anyone wanting to go to La Mare, I would say the best time of year to go is probably in summer as that’s when the vines will be looking their best.

It's a lovely zoo, and has been for a long time. Although you won't find larger animals like hippos, rhinos, elephants, giraffes etc, there are loads of equally fascinating animals to learn about and observe.<br>The atmosphere is more natural than any other zoo I've been to, and it's just a really good way to spend a day with family.<br><br>Prices are fairly high to get in, and food inside is also fairly expensive but the quality is very good. We didn't feel that we were being overcharged for what we had.<br><br>Highly recommended for families as a fun and memorable day out.

Amazing zoo unfortunately I got there in wrong season and weather like lots animals were hiding due cold and rain. Some of part are in reconstruction but It is what is it. But all over beautiful zoo with amazing experience like sloth so close they could do same with more animals like lemurs
