Very interesting well worth a visit or two, which is what we did, we had a very nice, reasonably priced, lunch at tvenue during our stay.

We had a lovely time doing the vineyard tour and having lunch in the restaurant. Helen was an excellent guide - knowledgeable and funny. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely few hours at La Mare estate. Beautiful setting. The tour was very informative and the tastings were great. Glad we upgraded to the premium tour and got to have a lovely drink with nibbles at the end. So easy to get there using the local bus. Would thoroughly recommend a visit and probably best to book ahead.

Our newly wed daughter Jenny and our new son-in-law Sam held their wedding reception at La Mare Wine Estates ❤️ on Friday, 12th September 2025.

Both Karen, Margot, and all the staff at La Mare were amazing. The venue was stunning, the main hall inside was beautifully laid out, the welcome champagne with canapés on the lawned private gardens worked well and all the food was delicious. All our wedding guests were thoroughly impressed with the whole magical event, which flowed perfectly from beginning to end.

On behalf of our family, we are pleased to express our deep gratitude and love for helping make the wedding party so special.

Thank you,
Love Becky and Roger

We took the classic tasting and tour which we very much enjoyed. The guide was very good.
We also had lunch in the café, which was good.
We recommend a visit.

An excellent place to visit and certainly not your typical zoo. Great to see conservation as the forefront of things.

What a lovely zoo to visit on a beautiful spring morning. As we went in the off season the zoo wasn't busy. Booked tickets on line £20. easy check in and very helpful member of staff told us about the talks. We headed straight to the orangutang's and then the tortoise talks.
We then ambled our way around. Not the most extensive amount of animals to see (no lions, tigers, bear, elephants etc) but what they do have is very interesting. Only let down and it was quite a big one was the gorilla enclosure was being heavily modified which meant no access to see them. The bats exhibition was also closed.
The restaurant wasn't open but like I said it was the off season. The cafe was available if required.
The zoo looks fantastically maintained and the keepers showed a deep love and respect for their animals. Conservation is their number one commitment.
All in all a nice 1.5 - 2 hours was spent.
Free Parking on site and a massive charity warehouse is there to look around in the car park.
Oh, Jersey has a big population of Red Squirrels! See pic.
