We visited La Mare Estate today for their wine tasting experience. The weather wasn’t great but that made no difference. The grounds are beautiful, the buildings are clean and well presented. The staff were all lovely and friendly especially John, our tour guide. Very informative, extremely friendly and welcoming. I was a bit dubious as some reviews said it wasn’t worth the money, in my opinion it was well worth it. If you’re expecting to spend 15quid to get pissed at a vineyard, you’re missing the point. Thank you all for a lovely afternoon.

Some beautiful animals and interesting information about the founder Gerald Durrell. There appears to be a lot of work underway in improving the enclosures, which is good but limits what can be seen.<br>(The cafe area is extremely noisy and busy but that is due to the indoor play area!)Overall a wonderful, relaxing place to visit., beautiful grounds.A very good gift shop.

Arabella's Flowers provided the most amazing flowers for a recent family wedding - from bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets, buttonholes to table flowers at the reception venue - all at very short notice. Very striking and many, many compliments. Thank you Arabella's.
