Gerald Durrell was my hero and I wanted to be a biologist since my childhood, his determination and love for animals influenced many people. He saved thousands of animals and species from extension, his work is life changing, it is a shame many people never heard of him. His books and his sense of humour made many laugh. The Zoo or reservation park is amazing, I wanted to visit since I was 6 years old, and I am very lucky, I can now get a ferry and get there.
