We only went for the food.. we've been before and enjoyed the restaurant. I forgot to ask for a plate.. if like me you'd rather not eat your burger off a strip of bark - best to mention it when ordering 😊

A interesting wine tasting tour. A lovely place to visit as do have cafe, shop and a lovely walk around the vineyard. And also suitable for weddings or any celebrations. It's smaller than Denbies Vineyard, Dorking, Surrey.

We visited in early October. There was a tour going round that we didn't join. The shop had a very limited selection of wine, sparkling only, but a reasonable selection of other La Mare goods.
The café provided quite decent food and the seats outside at the end on the vines were pleasant. However, we were very disappointed to find that they didn't have any of their own wines for sales. Surely one if the main reasons for visiting a vineyard is to be able to taste the wines.

Nice place to relax. The tour was reasonable, wine ok but not amazing. Nice still to look at and learn about.

Pleasant afternoon sampling tiny glasses of wine and thimbles of spirit with a commentary on its production by a well informed guide.
We followed this with an excellent afternoon tea organised by our tour. A great selection of sandwiches and cakes together with huge scones with jam, cream or the amazing Black Butter.

Well worth a visit. Better than the average gin distillery tour as they also produce cider wine apple brandy gin and make biscuits fudge and chocolate. Plenty of samples too.

This is a wine estate. Produces Jersey Black butter. Fudge, chocolate and of course wine and cider. The wine and cider were not to my taste very dry. Loved the visit and information from Bob and Bob.

One of Jersey's gems. Vineyard tours, lovely shop and cafe serving afternoon teas etc. A good placed to stop and purchase quality gifts.

Very peaceful place, nice to sit in sun after tour. We hadn't booked and needed to wait 2 hours. On the map of vineyard they showed how to walk behind car park onto a quiet cycle lane and through pub car park to devil's hole viewpoint which we did. Bus stops a bit confusing and have to stand on road.

We enjoyed this visit especially because the guide was a very able speaker and knew how to gain his audience's attention and hold it for the duration of the talk. We bought from the shop and ate a good lunch before leaving.

Did the tour with Bob who was great. I know hardly anything about wine really so it was nice to have an unpretentious tour guide who gave us lots of interesting information.

The wines we tasted were nice and it was good to have a walk around the vineyard at the end and see the grapes in different stages.

There was a wedding going on at the same time as we were doing the tour and it looked lovely so if you're looking for a wedding venue I'd say this was a good choice.
