Over the last few years there seems to be many more garages offering car repairs and servicing around West London and especially MOT Test Centres.
I was told by one garage owner that the cause of this was from individuals operating car wash services who then decided it would be worth offering MOT tests and servicing as part of their services to gain more revenue.
From a customer's viewpoint the benefits were simple to see, MOT tests were discounted below levels the established garages could charge and / or the service and repair charges were much lower.
The problem with this is that repairs are handled outside of the professional environment and repairs cannot be guaranteed.
