Beanstalk urgently need volunteer reading helpers to work in schools in Hounslow and Ealing.

As a reading helper you will be matched with three children who you will work with twice a week, building a relationship to help them read, grow and succeed.

To become a Beanstalk reading helper, you must: 

Be fluent in English, a competent reader and have excellent communication skills 

Believe in the importance of literacy and be able to inspire a child to want to read

Be able to spare one and a half hours, twice a week, plus your travel time

Be able to commit for at least one year

Have been resident in the UK for at least two years
