The people of Hounslow Borough have voted for their most 'Local and Loved' businesses in the Borough for 2014. This was part of national campaign run by TheBestOf to find the local heroes who run mostly independent businesses across the country.
The two businesses that were 'Highly Commended' in the London Borough of Hounslow were Thames Restaurant in Brentford High Street and Saks Hair and Beauty based at the David Lloyd leisure complex in Heston.
Thames Restaurant has only been open a few months and is proving to be very popular with locals serving its 'All you can Eat' Chinese Buffet of south east Asian cuisine in Brentford High Street.
Saks Hair and Beauty in Heston has been established for a decade and their clients love the ambiance, the staff and professionalism of this Hair and Beauty Spa in Hounslow Borough.
The Best of Hounslow Borough promotes the best businesses and will be running another campaign called 'Buy Local' later in the year to encourage local people of the Borough to support local small independent businesses.
