If you’re a member of a group, you could make such a difference to Cancer Care!

Do you belong to a group, either through work or socially? If so then Marie Curie Cancer Care would love to hear from you now.

The Great Daffodil Appeal is the charity’s biggest annual fundraising campaign, but we need your help to make it a huge success.  We are looking for groups or individuals who can rally round friends and family and organise one of the several collections in Hereford, Leominster, Kington, Bromyard and Ledbury. In return we will provide you with collection tins, tabards and the support you will need.

Volunteering is easy, sociable and fun to do and by donating a little of your spare time, you could be funding a whole night of home nursing care from a Marie Curie Nurse for a cancer patient in your area. Every night Marie Curie Nurses care for people with terminal illness in their own homes, enabling them to spend their last days in the comfort of their own familiar surroundings, totally free.

The more people that the charity can get to organise collections the more terminally ill patients Marie Curie Nurses can help. If you are interested in organising a collection or helping with the Great Daffodil Appeal please contact Lucy Barons Community Fundraiser for Hereford, Worcester & Gloucestershire on 0117 9427132 or email lucy.barons@mariecurie.org.uk
