Ladies who want to take part in the Ladies Driving Challenge for Marie Curie Cancer Care and sign up between now and the 31st of August will be entered into a draw to win a free place for their friend.

The Ladies Driving Challenge takes place on the 12th September at Throckmorton Airfield, Worcestershire in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and costs just £10 to register.

Ladies who take part in the event are given the chance to experience the thrill of driving a wide range of vehicles such as articulated lorries that for many would never otherwise be available. Vehicles up for grabs are likely to include ambulances, 4 x 4, Double Decker Buses and JCBs to name just a few.

All participants are asked to raise a minimum of £100 each and all monies raised will go towards Marie Curie Cancer Care in the area who provide high quality nursing, totally free, to give terminally people the choice to die at home supported by their families.  In addition to providing highly-valued nursing care for the patient, Marie Curie Nurses are also there to give emotional support and advice to the family.
