Next summer The Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford is playing host to the Blind Football World Championships. The finest blind football players from across the world will meet in Hereford to compete for the most coveted prize in sport, and Hereford will receive thousands of visitors to share in the celebrations.
A new multi-million pound international-standard sports and conferencing centre called thePoint4 is the venue for the Championships. This venue will also see the county’s Paralympic sports men and women training in preparation for 2012.
