The Best of Hereford is proud to fly the flag for Orles Barn, our latest award winner in the Travel, Tourism and Leisure category and The Old Vicarage in Old Clehonger which is Highly Commended.

At Orles Barn, Kelly and Richard want you to feel as if you have been invited into a relaxed country house, and they obviously achieve this from the many testimonials they receive.

"People make the best hotels, and you will not meet a better couple than Richard and Kelly. They took over the hotel in September - only 4 weeks ago and have impressed me more than any other hoteliers than I have ever met."

Orles Barn is a 17th Century barn situated in Ross on Wye. It has 8 comfortable rooms, and if croquet is your thing they have a croquet lawn to enjoy.

Orles Barn often has Jazz Sundays - where you can enjoy the music and a glass of Pimms - sounds idyllic. Check out the Events Page on their website.

"The friendliness of the new owners and the fantastic home cooked local food. Nothing was too much trouble for Richard and Kelly." KA

Orles Barn is ideally located to make the most of the beautiful Wye Valley - whether for a family get together (you can hire the whole hotel) or for a business meeting or small conference.

A very worthy winner - Well Done Orles Barn

Highly Commended - was The Old Vicarage in Old Clehonger, Hereford. Julian and Dinah Jeffery have created wonderful accommodation in a rural retreat for those wishing to enjoy the many attractions that the City of Hereford has to offer.

"The Old Vicarage is truly exceptional. The welcome and hospitality were second to none. If you wish for comfort and a little luxury in the Hereford area then ask for the Baroque Suite and look no further." MS

Well Done to Julian and Dinah!
