We had some wonderful news come through to us here at The Best of Hereford just before Christmas. We heard that Taste for Adventure were to receive a donation from the St. James's Place Foundation of £10,000.
Guy Selleck of St James's Place has attended many of our Evenings with The Best of Hereford and had met Brummie on many of these occasions. We held one of our Evenings at the Taste for Adventure Centre back in June 08 and when Guy saw what was being achieved there he decided to put Taste for Adventure Centre forward for consideration for a donation from St James's Place Foundation.
Just before Christmas Guy met with Brummie and his team at Taste for Adventure Centre and presented them with a cheque for £10,000 which Brummie said would go towards a new cooker, archery equipment and safety equipment for the centre.
We are delighted to have played a part in this. You just never know what will happen or who you will meet when you come to one of our networking evenings.
