Swap Stiletto’s for steering wheels

Stilettos, handbags at dawn and the rush for the shops have all in been traded in for steering wheels!! This can only mean one thing – the Marie Curie Ladies Driving Challenge is back!

Marie Curie Cancer Care is looking for 200 ladies to take part in the ultimate driving event!  Picture yourself behind the wheel of some of the most unusual and challenging vehicles you’ll ever dream of driving – anything from a Police car, a double decker bus to a milk float or JCB!

We’ll put you through your paces when you join us in our Ladies Driving Challenge at Throckmorton Airfield, Pershore Worcestershire on Sunday September 12th 2010.  Experienced drivers will help you get to grips with an array of vehicles – from HGVs to tractors.  Experience this unusual challenge as an individual or in a group, it’s a great alternative gift and most importantly it’s a great day out with the girls!

We ask all participants to raise a minimum of £100 each and there is a registration fee of £10 per entrant. All monies will go towards Marie Curie Cancer Care in the area who provide high quality nursing, totally free, to give terminally people the choice to die at home supported by their families.  In addition to providing highly-valued nursing care for the patient, Marie Curie Nurses are also there to give emotional support and advice to the family.  Marie Curie Cancer Care depends on the generosity of the public and we really need your help.

So what are you waiting for we still have places so call us now for an information pack and entry form on 0117 9427132 or email lucy.barons@maricurie.org.uk
