There are two great events coming up to raise money for St Michael's Hospice. It would be great to support this worthy charity.
Horse V Man is a race and fun run which has been organised to raise money for St Michael's Hospice, Hereford, in conjunction with Wye Valley Runners. It is being held on Sunday 31st August 2008 at Callow Hill, Hereford.
Runners will start at 11.00 am followed by groups of horses at intervals.
It is a 15 mile course, mainly on grass tracks with a stream crossing and small jumps. The race can be run individually or as part of a team of two.

The Venus Challenge on 20 September 2008 is a special 10K Night Walk for women only, to join together, have fun and, by their efforts, make a difference to local people with life-limiting illnesses. Women of all fitness level, aged 16 and above, can take up the Venus Challenge.
Registration from 10.30 pm, Warm up at 11.30 pm, Walk starts at Midnight,(no entries accepted on the night). £15 registration fee. The route is 10 KM starting and finishing at Hereford Leisure Centre.
