You either love it or hate it....
Does networking work? - Surprisingly it does work, but not in the instant gratification way that you would hope. Ivan Misner’s phrase “Givers Gain” is spot on. If you go into networking with a completely selfish attitude then people will give little in return. If you are willing to share and help other then you can reap the rewards. Networking is not a get rich quick scheme but it can add real value to your business in the long run.
Look for networking groups where people are willing to help each other.
As with every type of marketing you have to measure your return on investment – both money and time.
