If you are wondering what to do this weekend and haven't made any plans here are a few ideas of what is happening in Hereford.

1) Go to the circus- from this Saturday until the 22nd of February, for the very first time, Wyevale garden centre will be hosting Paulos Circus. As seen on ITV the show will include clowns, jugglers and spectacular acrobats in this family friendly show.

2) Take the children to see a performance at the Courtyard- On Saturday there is an opportunity to see two performances of 'The Mighty Prince and other famous fables',this fun packed show will entertain children and adults through a mix of live music, song and puppetry.

3) Go to the cinema- The blockbuster film adaptation of the novel by E.L James 'Fifty Shades of Grey',comes out in cinemas across the country this weekend. With pulses being raised and perhaps a few eyebrows, this is a sure fire way to amp up your Valentine's Day.

4)Visit an exhibition- If you'd prefer something a bit more tame, perhaps go to Berrington Hall to explore their latest exhibition, 'A thousand fancies', showcasing Georgian costume, featuring some of the dresses from the 1995 film staring Kate Winslet, 'Sense and sensibility' and the 2007 film, 'Becoming Jane'.

5) Have a romantic meal for two- With the Hereford Cattle Market development we are now spoilt for choice on where to eat, many of the Italian restaurants have vouchers online, or try GiGi Bar and Grill on Union Street for excellent steak.
