As many of you will know, here at The Best of Hereford we have been supporting the Charitable Activities of the Taste For Adventure Centre - a great local charity founded by Brummie Stokes. We have been fundraising through raffles held at our Evenings with The Best of Hereford and so far our Business Members have raised over £900. In order to continue to support the charitable activities, the centre operates business courses which we have recently featured on The Best of Hereford website - here is some more information….

Corporate Team Building and Outdoor Activities

Team activities encourage productive working relationships within your company - break down barriers and help overcome inhibitions - all in a fun environment.

The Taste for Adventure Centre is an exciting outdoor development in Hereford which offers breathtaking, challenging and innovative fun for everyone.

All the activities at the Taste For Adventure Centre are designed to promote teamwork and good communication skills, problem solving and leadership. The trained instructors will show your team how best to work towards a collective goal and as a group feel a huge sense of achievement.

The Taste for Adventure Centre offers the largest, revolutionary, futuristic rope and climbing complex in Britain.

Accredited by the AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority), the Instructors are trained to the highest level with the National Governing Bodies of the activities we provide. Programmes will be designed specifically for each client. So please feel free to contact Taste For Adventure Centre to discuss your requirements.

Team Building and Ropes Courses - why do they work and how could your team benefit?

Courses designed individually for you and your team!

Transferable Skills

All the activities are of a practical nature and can be readily transferred back to the work place. Many traditional Training Courses rely on delegates assuming roles to create a situation, which has some similarity to work. By using the ropes course individuals are not forced into a 'role' but are themselves and unable to hide behind the excuse "I'm not really like that".

Fun

All ropes course activities contain a significant element of enjoyment. People like to be involved. This increases motivation and commitment to learning.

One of the most challenging team events is "High All Aboard" where up to twelve participants work together as a team to stand simultaneously on the small, high, platform together.

Complex or simple - the ropes course activities can be designed to the appropriate level of complexity as required.

Taste for Adventure delivers tailor made Corporate Outdoor Pursuits programmes for your company.
