Clinical negligence is a complex and highly specialised area of the law, requiring not only legal but medical knowledge, and it is vital that claimants are assured their case is in the best possible hands.  Hereford law firm Lanyon Bowdler, based in the heart of the city on King Street, has a highly experienced team of clinical negligence solicitors, and is very proud to announce that a fourth member of the team has recently been approved as a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

Associate Emma Broomfield now joins existing members of the panel partners Paula Nash and Neil Lorimer and fellow associate Kay Kelly, which makes Lanyon Bowdler the only firm in Herefordshire and Shropshire to have four solicitors on the prestigious Law Society panel.  Membership of the scheme means special recognition has been given that a solicitor has the necessary skills, knowledge and experience in the complex area of clinical negligence law, all of which have been tested and certified by the Law Society.

Emma joined Lanyon Bowdler in 2003, having gained her law degree at Cambridge University and completing her training at Chester College of Law and an Oxford law firm.  Emma has acted for claimants in a large variety of cases which include birth injury, surgical error, spinal injuries and cancer misdiagnosis.  She is also experienced in handling fatal claims.

Commenting on Emma’s acceptance onto the panel, partner Paula Nash says “I am delighted – it is testament to Emma’s hard work and specialism, and I am also very proud of the fact that Lanyon Bowdler leads the way by being the only firm in the area to have four members on this Accreditation Scheme.”

Since the acquisition of Lewis & Co last December, Lanyon Bowdler has been expanding the legal services on offer to the businesses and private individuals across Herefordshire.  As panel solicitors for members of the NFU throughout the county, Lanyon Bowdler are delighted to now be conveniently on hand in order to meet with farmers, growers, businesses and private individuals in Herefordshire to meet all their legal needs.
