As h.Art (Herefordshire Art Week) drew to a close we decided to visit some local exhibitors. It was such a nice weekend that we decided to combine these visits with a walk in the country. So Saturday saw us taking a stroll around Brockhampton, including stopping at The Applestore Gallery where the featured artist Richard Bavin was showing the results of his year-long project studying and painting the trees of Wellington Wood.
Yesterday we headed off in another direction following the Wye Valley Walk towards Fownhope, stopping at Paget's Wood and returning via Bridget Drakeford's Gallery where Bridget and Irene Sanderson were there to talk about their ceramics and paintings.
