The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) is a life saving charity operating all over the East Midlands and serving the people of Heanor and Ripley since 2008. Flying out of East Midlands Airport but regularly re-fueling in Ripley, the DLRAA runs entirely on donations and receives no Government Funding.
Treetops Hospice in Risley is a registered charity offering hospice care for adults and their families with life-limiting illnesses in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
