Originally one of the churches in the Parish of Emmanuel and St. Mary in the Castle, now no longer a church and used instead as a venue for exhibitions, performances and meetings.

Unique building set in the cliff. Small to medium size auditorium with small stage. Seating ranges from limited to very comfortable slightly tiered lower floor area to the very uncomfortable wooden pews on the upper level.

The building has been sensitively restored and opened to the public and has a huge (pay) car park on the sea front immediately opposite.

Coming here for entertainment is an experience alone if not having visited before.

Saw Seth Lakeman here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, other than the longer than expected wait, which may have had more to do with getting a last minute support act! Great acoustics and a wonderful setting.

Can get a tea, coffee. Walls peeling and rather bare. Not as welcoming as some cafés.
