Little Gate Farm is a breed apart. As a special school, we have seen at first-hand how it is enabling children and young adults with learning disabilities to aspire to and attain paid employment within our local community. This in turn is changing perceptions, stereotypes and limitations that had previously been associated with learning disabilities. Their work not only impacts hugely on the individuals who utilise their services but also their families, friends, employers and the wider community as a whole. They are a forward thinking, innovate and compassionate organisation within our town and a great facilitator and ambassador for the positives aspects of difference .
