Led by Alex Paterson, The Orb have stood at the vanguard of British electronic music — pioneers of ambient house and architects of a sound that has shaped chillout culture to providing bass busting festival main stage performances. Their music straddles the mystical and the mischievous: expansive, witty, atmospheric, with a style and groove that is unmistakably The Orb. From “A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain”… to “Little Fluffy Clouds,” they remain one of the UK’s most influential electronic acts.

This show is presented in partnership with High Tides, the Hastings-based promoters behind a growing wave of landmark shows in the town — including Third World, Mad Professor, Scientist, and Stereo MCs.
