Great venue once you are in doors however the front of the building needs some work ... Ideal venue for MMA Events with great seating and a 360 view of the stage !! Looking forward to UPRISING II taking place there next year

Can get a tea, coffee. Walls peeling and rather bare. Not as welcoming as some cafés.

Saw Seth Lakeman here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, other than the longer than expected wait, which may have had more to do with getting a last minute support act! Great acoustics and a wonderful setting.

Originally one of the churches in the Parish of Emmanuel and St. Mary in the Castle, now no longer a church and used instead as a venue for exhibitions, performances and meetings.

Unique building set in the cliff. Small to medium size auditorium with small stage. Seating ranges from limited to very comfortable slightly tiered lower floor area to the very uncomfortable wooden pews on the upper level.

The building has been sensitively restored and opened to the public and has a huge (pay) car park on the sea front immediately opposite.

Coming here for entertainment is an experience alone if not having visited before.

This arts centre cafe has had a total refurb and re-think and is now a very pleasant place to be. The menu is well thought through and the two meals I have had there recently have been really enjoyable. Long may they prosper!

The only problem is - it's impossible to get through to the cafe by phone to check that they are open or to book a table if planning a large party. The only phone numbers quoted are for the arts centre and they go direct to voice mail outside office hours.
