Palladian architecture was first introduced in England by Inigo Jones when he designed the Queen's House in 1616.

Highlights:
Great Hall and Tulip Staircase.
Charles I gave the house to Henrietta Maria in 1635.   

 The Queen's House is part of the National Maritime Museum.
