Grantham at 7.00am was dry but by mid-morning the town was gridlocked as the sky filled with snow and temperatures fell below freezing. If you were one of the poor unfortunates trying to get out or stuck on the A1 then my sympathies go out to you. The incline at Little Ponton was causing major tailbacks. Twenty minutes north, Newark was clear and our dentist in Lincoln couldn't quite believe we had experienced heavy snow.
I left my mini in its garage and only ventured out to build a snowman and walk the dog. And as these pictures show, Beano's Wood looked very picturesque today.
Tonight is our Carol Service so we are going to wrap up and support our friend Suzanne who informs me she is doing one of the readings and is wearing a big hat!
