Half Term Hassles

Half-term is multi-tasking at its best. Not sure I am succeeding. My lipstick has ended up in the fridge, the Mini on empty and 'H' the dog is getting ten minute jogs between childcare and appointments.

Yesterday I was in Newark, tasting a little quantum of calm and peace surrounded by beautiful pictures and evocative music and lighting. Andrew who runs The Art Gallery of art galleries, Trent Galleries, offered me a perfect cup of coffee and a chance to put my feet up as I more or less quizzed him, under the guise of an interview, about his life.

After which I raced back to Grantham; cheated and took Nats my daughter to 'I'm Lovin it'  MacDonalds, picked my mother up from hospital, and then raced back home to make sure 'H' got outside in the nick of time.

Today I was networking at 7.00am but left early to get Nats to childcare before my Cupcake appointment in Long Bennington. Back to Grantham in time for lunch. I have a pumpkin I need to get creative with before Halloween and anything characterised as a domestic chore is on the back burner.

14.46 - and I am tripping! Hope you can lose yourself in these beautiful pictures exhibited by Trent Galleries in Newark
