Little Princess Trust is a charitable organisation near Gloucester providing wigs and hair pieces for children who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment.

The charity was set up by the parents and friends of Hannah Tarplee who died in 2005. The charity has helped children in Gloucestershire who have lost their hair through treatment for cancer and other illnesses.

For children hair loss is a traumatic event and until the founding of this charitable organisation there was no specialist charity in the Gloucestershire area. The NHS supplies synthetic wigs, however, quality real hair wigs are very expensive and hard to obtain in children's sizes.

This charitable organisation works with specialist suppliers and hair care experts to provide wigs which give the most realistic look and feel, as close as possible to original hair. The charity helps both girls and boys in Gloucestershire.

The charity has a highly informative website with information about the service, fundraising events and about hair donation.

The charity helps many children and as a small charitable organisation is always grateful for donations or for volunteers in Gloucester to donate time to help with:

• Leaflet distribution
• Fund raising in Gloucestershire
• Publicity and promotion

The charity has no paid staff and 100% of donations go into providing this brilliant service. So whether you are in Gloucester or beyond and want more information or can give a donation or donate your time call us.
