Hello Gerrards Cross!
It’s been ages since my last blog on thebestofbeaconsfield (I blog there as well)...been so busy with the last Bootcamp! Wow. We had a great time!! Loads of fun and really good results too! :-)
This is my first Blog on the Best of Gerrards Cross!! I own the local franchise 'Fit for a Princess’, we only launched in April this year and already the business is booming!!
As well as exercising outside all year round, our exercise philosophy is completely different to the usual boring reasons people do exercise! We focus entirely on getting you fit while you have an incredible amount of fun!!...if it isn't fun, then why bother??
It’s like being a child again - you went out and played until you had to go home and have your tea!! You were naturally as fit as a fiddle!!
So...why not come and give one of my Bootcamps or Outdoor workouts a try! You may find yourself giving up that expensive gym membership!! Next Bootcamp starts on Monday August 2nd!
Get started at home in the garden with:
Exercise for this week - Bench Step Ups
Stand in front of a bench - step up with your Right foot and then your Left, step down with your Right foot and then your Left. Do this for one Min and then switch legs (up with left)...
Tip: step right into the middle of the bench - not on the edge! Do a pelvic floor each time you go up!

As I said, my next Bootcamp starts on Monday 2nd August and is filling up fast!! 2 Weeks, Mon to Fri 6-7am, Sat 7-8.30, Sunday off and then Mon to Fri 6-7am. Go on; why not give it a go!
If you find it hard to get out of bed early for the 2 week Bootcamp, in August I am starting a half day Bootcamp...detail, prices and dates will soon be confirmed, but it will be on a Saturday afternoon for around 4 hours! Keep an eye on the website www.fitforaprincess.co.uk/beaconsfield

Try this Side Plank
Lie on your right side with your right elbow directly underneath your shoulder.
Keep your legs straight with your feet on top of one another.
Lift your hips off the floor until you form a straight line between your feet, knees, hips and shoulders.
Hold the position for 20 to 60 seconds on each side.
Repeat on the other side.
If this is too hard, keep your knees bent and only lift your hips off the floor.
Check that elbow is directly underneath you shoulder when you are elevated!

I am a kick ass trainer - I love training outside! I completed the Marathon Des Sables in 2005 and the Jungle Marat hon in 2006 (both were 6 full marathons back to back in extreme heat over 6 days).
