We are committed to making a contribution to the social, spiritual and cultural life of Exeter. We believe that God is living and active in our world and that He invites us to join in with what He is doing.

Andy and Jane Arscott planted Frontiers Church Exeter in 2003. A group of eight people began to meet in their living room sharing a love for Jesus, a passion for Church, worship, fun and meals together. The group grew and began to meet at Bow Hill Primary School. People continued to join including many students and young workers.

We have enjoyed Church family life together including weekends away, barn dances and baptisms on the beach. In the last few years we have seen many people married and are now experiencing something of a baby boom!

People have continued to join us and we have ‘sent’ many who are doing great things for God. Ben and Roz Powell are in Bolivia at Fuente da Vida Church in Santa Cruz. John and Hannah Fielder are planting a Church in the Birmingham area. Richard Young is an Elder at Revelation Church, Camden and Will Hitch is an elder at Centrepoint Church in Guildford. We have also sent friends to Plymouth, Oxford and London.

The Church has since outgrown Bow Hill and enjoyed different seasons in The Maynard School, The Thistle Hotel, St Sidwell’s School and St Peters School. We now gather around two hundred people during term time at Isca College.

In January 2012 Andy handed over the leadership of the Church to Stuart Alred. Stuart now leads an Eldership team of Andy Arscott, Phil Annetts and Rob Willmott who together lead Frontiers Church Exeter. We are very excited to see what this next chapter holds for us.
