Petroc offers an exceptional range of courses, from vocational training and apprenticeships, to A Levels and full degree programmes. The full course offering is facilitated at Petroc’s two main campuses: the North Devon Campus in Barnstaple and the Mid Devon Campus in Tiverton.
The College works closely with employers to deliver over 40 different apprenticeship frameworks, as well as bespoke industry courses to meet local training needs. Petroc prides itself on providing modern and industry-standard facilities to ensure it offers the best level of training across the variety of courses offered, and in the past three years has secured over £20million of investment to transform large parts of its estate. A fine example is the Future Technologies Centre at the Mid Devon Campus in Tiverton; a state-of-the-art £3million facility for students on a wide range of technology-related programmes.
While these facilities are used to great benefit by current Petroc students, they can also be enjoyed by members of the general public. We have training kitchens at both of our campuses, offering delicious, high quality food at considerably reduced prices. We also have hair and beauty salons and fitness centres with the latest Technogym equipment.
Year after year students produce exceptional, record-breaking results and progress onto the country’s leading universities, further industry training or employment. Petroc students are recognised for yielding outstanding A Level results, with annual pass rates well above the national average on many subjects. And, for extended diplomas, the pass rate is at an impressive 98%.
