Needed advice re feasibility of undertaking a loft conversion as have some structural weakness (bowing) flank wall. Did some research on the Institute of Structural Engineers website and was impressed with SSA's response to my initial queries. Derek and the SSA team completed a feasibility report earlier in the year which made recommendations (including an architect) that could take the project forward.<br><br>We're now at a stage that a detailed structural engineering report has been completed (calculations and drawings) with the architect currently completing the detailed plan to take to builders for quotes and realise the project in the near future.<br><br>I have been very impressed by SSA - Derek's knowledge and advice, timely responses and above all his willingness to explain and walk me through the process has been invaluable. I highly recommend SSA - a bespoke service.

Really can’t recommend Derek and his team enough. We were having issues with a building quote supplied by our house buyers which seemed excessive and over complicated and which was having an impact on our sale price. After scouring the internet we found Super Structures Associates and based on the reviews asked them to investigate the problem further. Derek acted speedily to arrange an on-site visit and write a report which suggested a simpler and less costly solution. We were very grateful for his input at a very stressful time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again.

Really can't rate Derek and his team highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and to work with him again in the future.<br>We have undertaken a huge amount of renovation work to our Victorian house which given its four stories is a substantial structure to support during the construction work. We are delighted with the end result - which despite the severity of the engineering challenge all completed without any engineering issues. We did however encounter disputes between contractors and a utility company which frankly we would not have been able to resolve without Derek's expert guidance, intervention and arbitration. We could never have foreseen those challenges but were massively reassured to have access to the wealth of Derek's experience when the construction challenges arose. Great job. It was amazing to work with SSA as we they were especially helpful in answering questions and working with an array of people in our team. The construction team had all their questions answered and an ongoing discussion was possible in order to find the best solution for a Grade 2 listed building. As an Interior Design Studio we would use them again in a second and I know that the construction company will as well!

We are incredibly pleased with the service and structural building report provided by Derek and his team, especially we came to him with very short notice to ask for his help with a house purchase. They totally delivered what we were looking for in terms of professional advice and clarity, and Derek even agreed to call and debrief us immediately after his site visit on a Friday so that we wouldn't worry about it over the weekend. I'd totally recommend this company.
