Great park, lovely venue with craft fairs/coffee shop etc, but the library is the best part. Super-friendly and helpful staff, the area is always tidy and well presented (as are the staff!) and a great kids section - well done Bourne Hall.

Used a room here for my sons 6th birthday, we used the catering staff, and everything was well organised, good value, and party went off like a dream. Highly recommend hiring here. The library is great as well, and the cafe!

What a great asset to the community this place is. A real hub of activity. Gardens, cafe, museum and library. Lots of clubs and activities for everyone. Always pleasant to visit.

I'm not too keen on the architecture of the building as it is out of keeping with the environment.

1970 built multi-purpose building with library, museum & function rooms. Outside resembles a Gerry Anderson space craft for Joe 90. It's now grade 2 listed.

Visited cafe whilst at the library. Lovely warmed fruit scones served with jam of choice and butter. Coffee and hot chocolate were both good. Cost is very reasonable. Library and museum worth the visit.

Calling in at the end of a walk alongside a local stream, We found a nice , light, internal space with a library and various meeting facilities.

At the moment, there's a display of local schoolchildren's art work, and some of it was very good indeed.

There's also a small cafe - pleasant enough, and serves a good cup of tea.

The grounds are nice for a quiet sit down, looking out over the river. Ducks to feed and nice flowers/shrubs. Family and dog friendly.

Modern (1970) circular building and community resource, with a most interesting museum on the mezzanine floor. Interpretation panels everywhere.
