This was my first time at this restaurant. I received a warm welcome and the restaurant has a lovely family feel. The service was top class and the food was simply exquisite. I would highly recommend. Well worth a visit.

I was able to pick 3 dishes from the tapas menu Spanish potato omelette which I had as a starter whilst hubby had chorizo with poached egg, which looked lovely, he followed that with the veal with sate potatoes and a selection of veg, I had potatoes with garlic and mayo plus sweet peppers. Then we shared a raspberry Mille feuille and we had a bottle of white Rioja with our meal. Restaurant got pretty full later, we started earlier than usual, 7.30pm, Carlos and Robert are always very welcoming and helpful to poor me and we have never been letdown on our visits here. It was really useful to use two different menus

We visited due to the generally excellent reviews on here but except for the initial very warm welcome from the owner/manager our experience wasn't that great unfortunately. We ordered 6 tapas but 1 came 15 minutes before another 4 arrived with the last 1 arriving after we'd finished almost everything else 15 minutes later. We had asked if the last dish had been forgotten and was told tersely by the waiter "it's coming." Nobody enquired as to whether our food was ok as we would have said something to the owner and our bill was given when we requested it with no acknowledgement that we were going or had we enjoyed our meal etc. We have visited many local Tapas restaurants and have always found that things flow better, more staff needed possibly? The atmosphere between the staff did seem rushed and stressed.

I've lived in Epsom for years but had never been to El Rincon, I WILL be returning, very soon.
We had the tapas; you could tell everything was freshly prepared, cooked to order, and also very authentic.
The restaurant has a lovely family run feel to it and the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful!

Staff very friendly and helpful. One member of family Gluten free and they discussed her menu choice with her. They hung up birthday hangers for us.

Although I have reviewed this restaurant previously I think a further mention is deserved. I recently held my 70th birthday lunch here with all my family. To accommodate over 30 customers with the courses arriving all on time must be a nightmare for restaurants but Joe, Carlos and the team really came up with the goods. Every one of our guests remarked on the quality of the food and the service provided. Ages ranged from 83 years down to 11 months and we all had an excellent afternoon with no requests being refused and with always a cheerful face on hand to deal with them. It is not surprising that whenever we visit this restaurant we notice that so many of the customers are regulars and known to the staff. A real family run restaurant and highly recommended.

The food was excellent . Nice little family run restaurant . Very friendly. The homemade desserts were the best part. Definitely try the chef's specials . Waiting to go back :)
