Went here for a meal and a catch up with our friends. Haven't been here for years, and pleased to see it was still owned by the same family. Food is excellent, and a lovely atmosphere with super friendly staff.

We have been to El Rincon a couple of times.
The first visit was great. Superb food and service just right. Not to rushed but reasonably attentive. We were one of 3 tables that night.The second visit was not so good
The food was again superb and the restaurant spotless but with the restaurant just under half full, the two waiters struggled.We asked for olives on our arrival, asked 4 more times and eventually got them a minute before our order arrived.
When we had finished, we waited about 10 minutes for the plates to be cleared, which is just about OK and then a further 25 minutes for the desert menu.Clearly, they need an additional waiter or perhaps less chat with mates around the bar area.
We will certainly try one more time in case our last visit was an aberration but if this is normal service (as noted in a couple of other reviews), we wouldn't return.Finally, I echo the comments about picking out one small piece of bread from a basket - A small selection with some olive oil etc would be far more in keeping with the Spanish way.

I can't think of what to write, except you must go here and try out this amazing restaurant. The food is too authentic, with flavours to die for, and some lovely wine to help wash it all down.

Nice tapas and a good range to choose from. Three each to share left us almost too full. Carlos the maitre d’ was very welcoming. Don’t expect rushed service - enjoy the company, drinks and bread while you wait. An evening on Spanish time!

Birthday meal for my wife with friends & family. One of the party is vegan and they tailored courses to cater for this. This is a regular haunt for us when we want a nice local meal, well prepared, and well delivered in a convivial atmosphere.

We have been coming to El Rincon for many years so I decided to book the restaurant for family and friends to enjoy the celebration and retirement for my wife Maggie. Jose And Carlos we’re brilliant helping me organise a.big group booking for this special evening. The food was amazing every one had a great time the guys and staff worked so hard to make it a success thank you so much Jose and Carlos and we will see you again very soon at our favourite restaurant.Dave and Maggie

Been going here for many years but have not been for a while. Glad I went back, superb food and service, authentic Spanish Tapas, great choices. Good value too. Parking can be a bit tricky but there is a car park by Tattenham Corner Rail station opposite. We will be back for dinner soon!

Regular visited to El Rincon, didn't book, only Carlos working. Ended up with a nearly full restaurant on a Wednesday! I ordered Paella best I have ever had!! Carlos worked so hard and managed amazingly. Service was tops. Some of the best food I have tasted at El Rincon. Definitely recommend Tapas or main menu. Well done Carlos....

Really enjoyed our meal again at El Rincon. Carlos and his nephew are delightful people, always happy to see you. The food was excellent and even though they were extremely busy on a Wednesday night we didn't have to wait long for the food. One of the places I will return to.
