Generally pantomimes are not a favourite of mine but ,having made an exception, I was spellbound by this excellent production. The cast was superb and, apart from the usual laughs, the second half was an astounding experience once the 3 d glasses were used. I was attacked by all manner of snakes etc.The venue has an excellent bar , great staff and comfortable seats. We are returning this month.

The Playhouse is quite a small, intimate theatre. There's nothing grand about it, it's fairly dated, but having said that, it's fit for purpose. It has a fairly good size bar area, but it was difficult getting a drink as it was very busy. I'd recommend bringing a bottle of water/etc to save queueing up if you're not having anything alcoholic. It's joined to the multi-storey car park, so there's easy access if you're not so mobile.

I review this as someone who hired the theatre, produced, directed and compered an amateur show. It's a great venue, albeit in need of a painter and decorator, but that is in the domain of the owner, Epsom and Ewell Council. Nothing was too much for the staff, from Elaine and Louise when booking the venue and having technical advice beforehand from the stage manager, Simon. Indeed, Simon was ever helpful and accommaditing on the night. When this is all over, if you want to put on a show and can sell 400 tickets, a great choice of venue. (Easy parking too.) (although below says October 2019, it was September 2018.)

This is a very average shopping mall with Waitrose, House of Fraser and M&S as the biggest shops. The biggest problem is the terrible lifts, there are four available for public use but often only one working so getting from the car park to the shops or vice versa can be a real pain.

Easy access on foot and a great selection of stores. Right on High street but a bit hard to stop a taxi or car for drop off.

Good variety of shops to peruse plus a fair few coffee shops to refresh yourselves. So pleasant to shop under cover when the weather is uninviting!

All the usual suspects reside here without anything interesting or different, the centre lacks Character, parking is not cheap. notable exceptions are Hatties Sweet Shop and the Mystic Meg shop next door to it. If you want a challenge try buying a DVD or CD in Epsom town centre these days. Book Shops are thin on the ground also compared to 5 years ago, still the town on the whole seems to be on the up, a bit.

The Ashley centre is an average shopping centre. It is always pleasantly clean and has the ususal - Waitrose, House of Fraser, Next, New Look, a large Boots, Card Factory, Superdrug, H&M, WHSmith and Thorntons etc. There are a few coffee shops which are suitable for light snacks and the toilets are located close to Waitrose. McDonalds has now closed - there is still one located on the High Street. There is quite a high turn over for some of the units resulting in regular boarded up fronts. Parking is disappointingly expensive - £1.80 for an hour and £2.50 for 2 hours.

Wide variety of shops. Mens fashion is underserved but that is true of most high streets. Cafes etc. Most of what you might need should be here in some form or other. There are better shopping centres out there but far more worse ones and this is a town centre shopping centre with all the limitations of space that brings so it gets a thumbs up from me. I never park here so not sure on cost of that, I prefer to walk or use public transport.
