Bourne Hall is comprised a large building, housing a sizeable public library, a small museum, a range of meetings rooms, a cafe area and some small treatment rooms. Outside are significant grounds boasting a wonderful large pond full of aquatic life, ducks and geese. The surrounding grounds are well laid out with shady wooded areas populated by quite friendly grey squirrels and loads of pigeons.

Car Parking is a bit on the expensive side and generally you can find a space. The West Ewell Train Station is only about 5 minutes walk away.

The meeting rooms / halls are used by a number of local groups but, really, there should be more.

The coffee shop is a bit of a let down. Quite poor quality, pre-packed food and machine dispensed coffee. I am sure that if this was run by a local company they would put more effort into optimising the huge space they have.

The library is modern looking and friendly, I often let me children browse the library whilst having a coffee as you can watch the only entrance easily from the cafe area seating.

Another travesty is that the local authority closes the building (not the grounds) on a Sunday, when the population are most likely to want to use it. It seems such a waste of an amenity.

Offers a variety of things - indoors a library, meeting rooms, museum and space for fitness activities. Outdoors a small park and pond where you can have a peaceful walk and feed the birds

a meeting with my family, tea and a sandwich whilst I waited for them.

Love this place, it serves so many purposes not just a library but more a centre to explore.

The local museum history room provides information on the village and its surrounding area, the library meets the readers needs and then the whole range of opportunities available makes it a hub for the village.

Fancy a dance or tai chi? Check out Bourne Hall.

nice park, terrific trees. inside is a tiny café, not fancy at all more near cafeteria but without pretention, and you can't beat the friendly staff, they really are the nicest. It's prepacked sandwiches and some they will toast for you, really for quick bites in a nice casual place.

Good for feeding the ducks and squirrels followed by a cup of tea and cake in the cafe. The library in the venue provides another way to entertain children,

What a lovely little park in the centre of Ewell village.

Bourne hall itself has lots of fascinating facts about the area and a little cafe

In the park there's lots of room to have a little picnic or feed the ducks

Great fun for all the family, plus there are facilities in Bourne hall should you need them

There is parking to and the fees are nominal.
