We have dealt with the Personal Agent on a couple of occasions and have mixed feelings about their service. We let our flat through them and the lettings team were absolutely brilliant, they were very responsive, very proactive and found us a great tenant paying £100 pcm more than another agent valued our flat for and £150 more than a similar flat in the building that had recently been let by another agent. I would highly recommend them over any other letting agent in the area. We then decided to sell the flat and again the sales team were brilliant, were responsive, kept us fully up to date, generated plenty of viewings and found us an investor who has bought the flat with the tenants in place at a price we were happy with.
Unfortunately, the experience from the point where we accepted an offer has been terrible. We dealt with Ren and were having to always chase for answers to questions which we had to ask multiple times. We were often promised that she would return our call and then didn't but would just respond with an email a day later. Emails written to us were full of mistakes an even though we asked to both be copied into the same email this often wasn't the case which did make it seem like she didn't really care. When we phoned Ren to get an update and did get hold of her she didn't seem to know the answers to a lot of our very basic questions and on more than one occasion we were given information that she openly said had 'guessed' and actually related to a completely different property transaction to our own. We had to do a lot of the chasing of the deal and in our experience the sale was not progressed at all by the agent, all we got was Ren forwarding emails to us that our solicitor had already sent us. When our exchange was delayed one Friday we were explicitly told by Ren she would personally chase it up on the Monday and when we emailed her on the Monday afternoon having not heard from her we received an out of office reply so she clearly had no intention of chasing it up for us. We exchanged over a week ago and have actually now completed on our sale but we haven't had any phone call or even a courtesy email from anyone at The Personal Agent since. Overall we have been left feeling frustrated and ultimately ended up feeling like we haven't received a personal service.

Had a great experience with Personal Agent in an otherwise extremely stressful time of completing before stamp duty holiday. Joe from the Epsom branch was instrumental in the original negotiation of the deal and did a fab job in ensuring timely exchange ahead of 30th June. There were few bumps along the way only because of the urgent nature of the sell but I'm very pleased with the professional nature with which it was all handled and happy with the outcome. Would highly recommend to everyone.
