Summer Interactive Workshops
Wednesdays between 25th July and 29th August
10:30am to 4:30pm
The interactive workshops being held on Wednesdays in The Ashley Centre are proving popular! These free workshops are giving children a chance to learn something new in a fun educational way at their free interactive workshops on internet awareness, mindfulness, road safety, nutrition, anti- bullying and sustainability.
Until 29 August from 10.30am to 4.30pm outside House of Fraser children can come along and take part in the free activities on offer learning about a different topic each week. There is no need to book, just turn up and take part!
On Wednesday 15 August Nancy Nutrition will help children build their own healthy plate learning about the difference between carbs, protein and fats and how great nutrients are.
On Wednesday 22 August the emphasis is on anti-bullying when Bea Bully will show how NOT to treat other people and teach children how to detect and prevent bullying and treat other people with kindness.
Finally on Wednesday 29 August energy saving, recycling and preserving nature will be the theme with Susie Sustainable.
These are not supervised playschemes and parents/guardians are requested to stay with their children and join in the fun.
